What is starbury shoes?

Starbury shoes were a brand of affordable athletic shoes created by former NBA player Stephon Marbury in 2006. The shoes were sold for $14.98, a fraction of the price of other popular brands such as Nike and Adidas. The goal of the brand was to provide quality athletic shoes at an affordable price point, making them accessible to low-income families. The shoes were sold exclusively at Steve & Barry's stores but were discontinued when the stores went out of business in 2009. However, Marbury relaunched the brand in 2018 with a new line of athletic shoes and apparel.
